Practicing panning shots

Hi there! It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. I’ve been very busy with other stuff, but I plan to post some photos of my panning experience.. I know I need more practice. :P

Went outside to the streets at around 6.30am to practice. It takes time and effort.. and a lot of people starting at you. They were thinking, “What is she doing?” Some where even smiling as they pass by. Maybe they thought I was some talent scout or something. LOL.  Even the guards at the other side of the street where smiling, thinking i was taking their picture, well sad to say, I AM NOT… HAHA :p

I love how this shot came about. The front part of the bus is clear while the back is still kind of blurry.

I secretly wished the taxi wasn’t there. Oh well. Still happy with the outcome. Practice makes perfect! :)

Sports: TENNIS

What to do during summer break? Play sports! Got to have a Healthy Lifestyle!

I choose to wake up very early – 5:15am to exercise and play tennis around 6:30am – 9:30am while getting a tan under the sun! THE SUN RAYS OH MY. lol. :)  well, that’s just a BONUS for those who want to get a tan. i don’t. :o

Getting ready to serve! FOCUS.

Turn racket back. Bounce the ball.

READY. . .

SHOT! :)

I know the camera was pointing at me, so I’m still smiling.. hehehe

SEE?? I love smiling at the camera!

Met new friends today, and oh, they thought I am KOREAN.. annyeong haseyo! ^_^

The Romantic side of Nami Island

When I saw our South Korea itinerary, I was excited to visit Nami Island. Why? Coz Nami Island is one of the shooting location for the Korean show “Winter Sonata”.

Winter Sonata is a South Korean television drama series broadcast by KBS in 2002. It is the second part of the Endless Love installment directed by Yoon Seok Ho. **

Winter Sonata stars Choi Ji-woo and Bae Yong Joon**

This is said to be where their FIRST KISS took place.

FIRST KISS: This is it! Mwah! Mwah! **

Wasn’t able to bring a boyfriend (HAHA. maybe next time) so I just made a heart. <3

Cute scenes from the Winter Sonata drama.

Saw this poster beside a restaurant.

Nami Island should be visited during spring, autumn and winter for the different effects and surroundings! Look at the awesome photos there!!!

Would definitely be back one day:)

The Beautiful Nami Island, South Korea

Nami Island was named after General Nami, a brave name from the Korean history who courageously fought in battles and died at the age of 27. in 1965, thousands of  trees were planted by the hands of Mr. Pyong – Do Minn.

The rain used to transform this place into an island. It is the land of songs and fairytales. The shape that is has right now has been kept since the construction of the Cheongpeong dam.

Nami Island today provides a warm place to rest, where people can take heavy loads off their shoulders. Men animals and trees share peace, love and harmony far away from the crowded civilization.

Philippine flag beside the South Korea flag! How awesome. :)

The ferry that will bring us to Nami Island. Travel time usually takes around 10-15 minutes. It was really a smooth ferry ride all the way.

Nami Island = UNICEF child friendly park

Tall beautiful trees growing in Nami Island.

Traveling is more fun when you take jump shots! Me and  my new found friend from the tour, Lorraine.  Enjoying the scenic view of Nami Island and jumping with joy! :P

Koreans love riding bicycles, especially couples in their Korean shows – the guy pedals while the girl sits at the back. Awww so cuute. :)

The Château de Versailles, which has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage List for 30 years, is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18th-century French art. The site began as Louis XIII’s hunting lodge before his son Louis XIV transformed and expanded it, moving the court and government of France to Versailles in 1682. Each of the three French kings who lived there until the French Revolution added improvements to make it more beautiful.

My friends and I planned a “DAY TRIP” somewhere far from the busy city. (as always)

We chose The Coffee Farmhouse as our destination which is located in 23 Palumlum-Matagbak Road Brgy. Palumlum, Alfonso, Cavite, Philippines. It’s a coffee farm and a garden full of  coffee trees, flowers and  plants that creates a perfect ambiance for a relaxing vacation.

Before you reach the house and the pool, you’ll be able to tour around and walk through rows of coffee trees and savor the fragrance of white coffee flowers and the beauty of ripe berries.

Everland Resort: Flower garden and Safari World

Everland Resort is one of the must-see places when you visit South Korea. It’s like a magical world for you and your family:  full of beautiful flowers in bloom, colorful houses, cute characters roaming around, exciting rides and shows plus wild animals in close-up view!

I’m very happy to see lots of tulips everywhere! We don’t have tulips in the Philippines because of the HOT weather! Sometimes it even reaches up to 35 degrees Celcius! Talk about body temperature!

Whatcha doin’??

\SAFARI WORLD. Ride the bus and you’re ready to go!

SMILE!!!

Very active bear. He was showing us a sample of his martial art skills!

He was listening to our bus driver giving him instructions while STANDING! :)

Seongsan Sunrise Peak 성산일출봉

My Jeju Island, Korea Adventure!

Hydrovolcanic eruptions formed this majestic volcanic crater 5,000 years ago on Jeju Island.

A UNESCO world heritage site, the peak is famous for many things, including numerous rare plant species, but is best known for the magnificent sight of the sun rising over it (hence the name).

The climb up the peak’s northwest side ridge (its other sides are steep cliffs) to the 180-meter highest point takes 30 minutes.

The rocky pathway

Resting for awhile, perfect time to take photos! *puff-puff*

Almost there! *inhales deeply*

Going up the volcano was long and difficult, but going down was fast and easy.

YAY! I made it to the crater! It was cold and windy!

Met some Korean friends along the way.. I look Korean right? :)

I conquered Sungsan Sunrise Peak!
